Editorial Policy

Editorial scope

Live Markets publishes educational explainers and analysis about currencies, stocks, cryptoassets, precious metals, and other markets. Articles are for general information, not personalized financial advice or a recommendation to trade.

The Live Markets Editorial Team byline identifies the publisher. It does not mean that every article has been individually reviewed by a subject-matter professional, and it does not represent a professional credential or certification.

Research and sources

We use sources relevant to an article’s claims, preferring primary materials such as regulatory filings, central-bank and exchange publications, issuer documents, standards, and original research when they directly support the point. Secondary reporting and data providers may add context.

Source lists identify materials used; a citation is not an endorsement. Readers should consult the original material for its methods, definitions, current terms, and any later corrections.

Updates and corrections

We may correct factual errors or clarify an article when warranted. Substantive changes may be reflected in an updated date. A published date is shown only when a publication date is recorded; an updated date does not establish the original publication date or imply a professional review.

To report a possible error, use our Corrections page or Contact page.
